UI Prototyping & Wireframing
While contracting with Demographica, I was tasked with designing the over-all prototype for the SA Tourism specialist microsite. I took to creating a colorful collection of pages that showcase the best SA has to offer. A great starting point before the final build kicks off.
Objective
Tasked with figuring out the layout and flow of the new SA Tourism Specialist site. I put together the prototype that would be used to build the final site. The site prototype needed to communicate multiple aspects of visiting our country, what sights to see and how to get around.
Result
Some refinement and consideration went into the styling, assuring the site is vibrant and engaging. Accurately relaying the brand as well as our country’s voice. This side also acts as a directional guide for viusitors navigating their way around. Further linking to a dedicated specialist platform.
Landing Page
The inial landing page and above the fold content is the first point of entry. With this in mind, I used striking imagery with bright and inviting colors to engage users and get them to scroll down.
Travel Guidelines
Included in the guide, are some tips on how to get around our country. Things like e-hailing and the Gautrain are some of the options displayed. Each with relevant visuals to speak directly to the mode of transport.
Landmarks
Diving a bit deeper into our countries landmarks. Each option has relevant stats assigned to it. Acting more as an educational section that helps build intrigue for each option.
Airlift
To expand a bit more on travel options that aren’t only local, a section was also reserved to showcase airlift options, with relevant information on each potential area.
